I was at a crossroads with my career and didn’t know which way to turn. Out of the blue, a former colleague called me about an open position at her company. At first, I was worried I wouldn’t measure up, but she encouraged me to apply anyway. I spent the weekend brushing up on my interview skills and trying to be positive. Long story short, the interview went surprisingly well, and they offered me the job on the spot! It just goes to show that sometimes, taking a leap of faith really pays off.

Eu estava em um momento decisivo na minha carreira e não sabia qual caminho seguir. Do nada, uma ex-colega me ligou para falar sobre uma vaga aberta na empresa onde ela trabalhava. No início, fiquei preocupado por achar que talvez eu não estivesse à altura, mas ela me incentivou a me candidatar mesmo assim. Passei o fim de semana revisando minhas habilidades para entrevistas e tentando manter uma atitude positiva. Resumindo a história, a entrevista foi surpreendentemente bem, e eles me ofereceram o emprego na hora! Isso só mostra que, às vezes, dar um salto de fé (ou seja, arriscar mesmo sem ter certeza do resultado) realmente vale a pena.
