M: I’m really excited about this weekend … I think it’s going to be difficult, but I’m sure we’re all going to have a great time.

W: Yes … I’m really looking forward to it as well. I’ve always wanted to go on one of these survival courses. It might be a bit strange going with a group of people who you don’t know very well. But I suppose it’s good to get to know our colleagues better!

M: Yes, I think that’s the idea … I’m sure it’ll be fun.

W: Anyway, we can take five things, can’t we? Shall we think about it now … and try and decide which things to take?

M: Yeah … good idea.

W: Erm … which of them do you think is the most important?

M: Well, it’s quite cold … erm … I don’t want to be cold at night! I think we should take the blankets to keep us warm.

W: OK … so, do you think they’re more important than the penknife?

M: No, no … not more important. We can have the penknife as well. We are allowed five things after all.

W: That’s true. So, what else?

M: Well, in my opinion, we should take the matches, so we can make a fire from all the wood you can chop up with the penknife!

W: Good idea … and … how about the tent?

M: Hmmm … I’m not sure. That sounds like cheating a bit. Couldn’t we make a shelter from the trees and leaves and things?

W: Well maybe you could!

M: OK … we’ll have the tent … and why don’t we have the chocolate as number five as a bit of luxury?

W: Yes, great idea … I think we’re going to need it!

M: Estou muito animado com este fim de semana... Acho que vai ser difícil, mas tenho certeza que todos vamos nos divertir muito.

W: Sim... Estou muito ansiosa para isso também. Sempre quis fazer um desses cursos de sobrevivência. Pode ser um pouco estranho ir com um grupo de pessoas que você não conhece muito bem. Mas acho que será bom conhecer melhor os nossos colegas!

M: Sim, acho que é essa a ideia... Tenho certeza que vai ser divertido.

W: De qualquer forma, podemos levar cinco coisas, não podemos? Vamos pensar nisso agora… e tentar decidir quais coisas levar?

M: Sim... boa ideia.

W: Erm... qual delas você acha que é a mais importante?

M: Bem, está muito frio... e... não quero passar frio à noite! Acho que devíamos levar os cobertores para nos aquecer.

W: OK... então, você acha que eles são mais importantes que o canivete?

M: Não, não... não são mais importantes. Podemos levar o canivete também. Afinal, temos cinco coisas permitidas.

W: Isso é verdade. Então, o que mais?

M: Bem, na minha opinião, devíamos levar os fósforos, para fazermos uma fogueira com toda a lenha que você cortar com o canivete!

W: Boa ideia… e… que tal a tenda?

M: Hmmm... não tenho certeza. Isso parece um pouco de trapaça. Não poderíamos fazer um abrigo das árvores e folhas e outras coisas?

W: Bem, talvez você possa!

M: OK... vamos levar a barraca... e por que não levamos o chocolate como número cinco, como um luxo?

W: Sim, ótima ideia… acho que vamos precisar!
