I’m from Scotland but now I live in Istanbul. My life is very different here. I
live in a flat, not a house. I only eat Turkish food now. I still read English
newspapers, and I have the BBC on the internet in my flat. Oh yeah, I go to
football matches here in Istanbul. That’s different, because in Scotland I
don’t like football! I work at a university. I’m an English teacher. I speak
Turkish, because I have a Turkish wife! I really like it here, it’s great.

muito diferente aqui. Eu moro em um apartamento, não em uma casa. Eu só como
comida turca agora. Ainda leio jornais em inglês e tenho a BBC na internet no
meu apartamento. Sim, vou a jogos de futebol aqui em Istambul. Isso é
diferente, porque na Escócia eu não gosto de futebol! Eu trabalho em uma
universidade. Eu sou um professor de Inglês. Falo turco porque tenho mulher
turca! Eu gosto muito daqui, é ótimo.
