Hugo: Jennifer. How's it going?

Jennifer: Not too bad. What are you doing round here?

Hugo: I've just bought a house in the area.

Jennifer: Oh, where?

Hugo: Just round the corner actually. You live round here, don't you?

Jennifer: That's right. I'm renting a place just down the road. What a coincidence. So, how's it going?

Hugo: Great, thanks.

Jennifer: And how's your brother, Alfie?

Hugo: Not too bad. He's working in a bank in the city. He's got some sort of a temporary job there.

Jennifer: Very good.

Hugo: So, what's the area like?

Jennifer: Not too bad. They're building a new Underground Station, which is going to open sometime next year. They reckon that house prices will really go up after that. 

Hugo: Looks like I made a good decision.

Jennifer: You certainly did. So, Alfie is still going out with Marcie?

Hugo: No, they split up ages ago. He's living on his own right now.

Jennifer: Oh, right. You'll have to give me his phone number.

Hugo: OK. I'll send you a text message. So, are you still going out with Michael?

Jennifer: No. That finished ages ago. Free and single ... again.

Hugo: Oh, I am too.

Jennifer: Great. Erm, so, send me Alfie's number when you can.

Hugo: OK. See you around.

Jennifer: Bye!

Hugo: Yeah, bye.

Jennifer: Hugo!

Hugo: Jennifer. Como tá indo?

Jennifer: Nada mal. O que você está fazendo por aqui?

Hugo: Acabei de comprar uma casa na região.

Jennifer: Ah, onde?

Hugo: Na verdade, ao virar da esquina. Você mora por aqui, não é?

Jennifer: Isso mesmo. Estou alugando um lugar aqui perto. Que coincidência. Então, como está indo?

Hugo: Ótimo, obrigado.

Jennifer: E como está seu irmão, Alfie?

Hugo: Nada mal. Ele está trabalhando em um banco na cidade. Ele tem algum tipo de trabalho temporário lá.

Jeniffer: Muito bom.

Hugo: Então, como é a região?

Jennifer: Nada mal. Eles estão construindo uma nova estação de metrô, que será inaugurada no próximo ano. Eles acham que os preços das casas vão realmente subir depois disso.

Hugo: Parece que tomei uma boa decisão.

Jennifer: Você certamente tomou. Então, Alfie ainda está saindo com Marcie?

Hugo: Não, eles se separaram há muito tempo. Ele está morando sozinho agora.

Jennifer: Ah, certo. Você terá que me dar o número de telefone dele.

Hugo: OK. Vou te enviar uma mensagem de texto. Então, você ainda está saindo com Michael?

Jennifer: Não. Isso acabou há muito tempo. Livre e solteira... de novo.

Hugo: Ah, eu também.

Jennifer: Ótimo. Erm, então, me mande o número do Alfie quando puder.

Hugo: OK. Vejo você por aí.

Jennifer: Tchau!
